Reverend Dr. Yaron I. Kohen

Rev. Dr. Yaron I. Kohen is a pastor-theologian, evangelist, teacher, counselor, musician, author, and missionary whose life and ministry are devoted to proclaiming the sufficiency of Christ and the transforming power of God’s Word.

As the founder, president, and pastor of Grace Ministries for Christ (GMC), Rev. Dr. Kohen has served faithfully across the United States and abroad—preaching the Gospel, teaching Scripture, counseling the hurting, discipling believers, and equipping the Church with Spirit-led conviction and Christlike compassion, meeting others right where they are in life.

With nearly 30 years of ministry experience, he brings a distinct and deeply biblical voice to pastoral counseling, spiritual formation, and discipleship. His work integrates biblical exposition, practical theology, pastoral counseling and care, and Christian formation to help believers move beyond surface-level change into genuine transformation through the renewing work of the Holy Spirit.

Rev. Dr. Kohen holds a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling and a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from Liberty University. He is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Bible Exposition at Liberty University, where his continued research focuses on the relationship between biblical exposition, discipleship, spiritual maturity, and Christian intrapersonal formation.

His doctoral work gave rise to Proactive Pastoral Counseling: An Intrapersonal Approach for Cultivating Christian Formation—a theologically rich and biblically grounded model of care that moves beyond mere behavior modification. This approach addresses the inner life of the believer—the heart, mind, conscience, affections, desires, and self-talk—where spiritual battles are often fought and where, by the power of the Holy Spirit, sanctification takes root.

Through evangelism, preaching, teaching, counseling, worship, and missionary work, Rev. Dr. Kohen’s central aim remains clear: to exalt Christ, speak life, speak Jesus, and help others grow in faithful obedience to God’s Word.
