Thank you for visiting the missions page of Grace Ministries for Christ (GMC) and considering partnering with GMC to support the ministry of Rev. Dr. Yaron Kohen, GMC’s president.
At this time, GMC is proud to announce the sending out of our President, Rev. Dr. Kohen, to serve as a volunteer missionary pastor, teacher, counselor, and musician in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala where he will teach Bible classes at the Inter-American School (IAS) in Xela (Shay-la). His work begins on January 13th, 2025, through the middle of June 2025, Lord willing. This mission allows Rev. Dr. Kohen to share the Gospel, teach God’s Word in a classroom setting, and minister to a community rich in cultural heritage encompassing Catholic, Mayan, Spanish, and other traditions.
Prayerfully consider supporting GMC to support Rev. Dr. Kohen reach the hearts and minds of the beautiful people of Guatemala with the love of God’s Word through Jesus Christ.
A Note from the President
God has prepared me for this mission through a lifetime of experiences, challenges, ministry work, and education, including earning my Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling. As Job 42:2 reminds us, “No plan of God can be thwarted.” I am humbled to accept this calling as a volunteer missionary teacher to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a region deeply in need of His message.
To make this mission possible, I need your support. Like Paul the Apostle, who sought help from fellow believers (Philippians 4:14-17, Romans 15:24), I am asking for your partnership through prayer and financial support. Your prayers will sustain me spiritually, while your financial contributions will cover living expenses, teaching materials, an acoustic guitar for leading worship, healthcare, travel, and other ministry needs during my service from January to June 2025.
